FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I thought you couldn't get Rizoma products here in the U.S.
A: This rumor is being circulated mainly by companies who compete with us. Several of these companies have managed to obtain a few Rizoma parts through other sources, but they don't have access to the complete line of parts Rizoma offers, and they cannot offer product support when it comes to warranties and repair parts. We get shipments each and every week from Italy, and we are currently the only approved Rizoma distributor in the United States. If you would like your local shop to carry Rizoma products, please let them know that we have a dealer program.

Q: Who/where are you?
A: We are two avid motorcyclists, both former Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoaches. PJ grew up in upstate New York and Florida, and Paige grew up in Geneva, Switzerland and Peoria, Illinois. We now live near Lexington, Kentucky. PJ is retired from the Navy (GSMC). One of our main goals is to personally serve each and every customer. We don't want you to be just an order number in the system. We want to help you find the quality parts you want at a good price with good customer service.

Q: How does ordering from you work?
A: You can place an order through the website or simply e-mail us with a request or question. Our website check-out feature will not take your credit card information. We will communicate with you to let you know if we have the parts you want in stock. If we don't, we'll confirm what you want and get it on order for you. We can't guarantee how long it will take to get parts from Italy, but most can be here within a week or two. We get weekly shipments from Italy, which will decrease your wait time. We are working to build stock to be able to fill all orders as quickly as possible.

Q: How/when can I pay you?
A: We do not take payment until we have parts ready to ship to you. When your parts arrive here, or if we have them in stock, we will send you an electronic invoice. We use PayPal to do this, but you do not need a PayPal account to pay the invoice. You can simply pay by credit card using the second link in the invoice e-mail. We also accept checks and money orders. Checks will need to clear the bank before parts are sent.
Note: If you order a part that we do not routinely stock, we may ask for a partial deposit up front, which is refundable up until your part leaves Italy.

Q. How do you ship?
A: We ship using the U.S. Postal Service. For U.S. orders we use insured Priority Mail, which usually takes 2-3 days and may require a signature. International shipments are shipped by Priority Mail International and are insured when possible. We can ship using Express Mail, but because we live in a very rural town, most shipments still take two days, so Priority Mail makes more sense. We can ship UPS upon request, but that may cost more.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Items returned in the unopened original packaging will be eligible for a 100% refund. (Shipping will be not be reimbursed.) Items returned with opened packaging or without packaging will be inspected upon return and then a determination will be made regarding how much we can reimburse. It is your responsibility to package the item(s) carefully so that no damage occurs during shipment. Our reimbursement will be based on what we believe we can sell the part for -- we do not have a predetermined restocking fee.

Q: What if you send me the wrong part?
A: If you order the wrong part for your bike, the above policy applies. If we send you the wrong part by mistake (rarely happens), you return the wrong part, we send you the right part, and we will reimburse you for the shipping to get the wrong part back to us.

Q: How are warranties handled?
A: If you bought the part from us, please contact us and we'll work with our supplier to fix the problem. Please keep your receipt from us to facilitate returns and warranty issues. If you bought the part elsewhere, please contact that business.
